Description
Ryan Sheff, a volunteer with Texas Storm Chasers who occasionally provides social media updates during severe weather, filmed this rain-wrapped tornado as it moved just southeast of Bel Air, Maryland on Jun 1, 2012. Ryan helps us quite a bit when severe weather impacts Texas and he's an active storm spotter in Southern New Jersey. He ventured south with the expectation of an active severe weather day in Virginia, Maryland, and Delaware. This rain-wrapped tornado formed suddenly with about a 60 second notice given to Ryan thanks to a phone call from David. The National Weather Service in Baltimore is conducting a damage survey and we'll update this description as necessary with their results. Video available for immediate media licensing. Contact Connor McCrorey at 214-392-3767 for rates.
