A total of 25 bikes took part this weekend in the 6th round of Qatar International Road Racing Championship under the floodlights of Losail International Circuit. Alexander Cudlin won the first race of round 6 this weekend. The australian rider who started in the second position of the grid, lead the race from the 6th lap and did not give any chance to the other rider to overtake him. Alexander Cudlin made a total race time of 31:21:706. In second position, Scott Smart from Great Britain and starting from the second row of the grid, had a great rhythm and was back to the podium. The Qatari rider Saeed Al Sulati finished in third position. The woman german rider, Nina Prinz, who got the pole position on friday in the qualifying practice, had a crash in the 4th lap of the race and could not finished the race. In the Losail Asia Road Racing Series (LARRS) the Indonesian rider Doni Tata Pradita finished in fifth position overall and first in his category. Ali Rusmiputro also from Indonesia, finished second and the Indian rider Krishnan Rajini ended in third position of LARRS. In the race 2 of the weekend, Mishal al Naimi is back to the first position of the podium and he is still leading the championship. The Qatari rider had a very tight battle with Nina Prinz during all the fifteen laps and finally Nina finished in second position. The third position of the race was again for Saeed Al Sulaiti, that took the advantage that Alexander Cudlin crashed in the turn 1 and did not finish the race. For LARRS category, the podium was the same as race 1. Mishal Al Naimi is leading the championship with 190 points, 20 points ahead Alex Cudlin that has 170. Saeed Al Sulaiti is in third position with 139 points. The title of the championship will be decided in the last round that will be held on 25th and 26th May. Riders: Alex Cudlin: It was an excellent result in terms of position, I won the race convincing me. At the beginning of the race, Mishal and Nina broke away in the firsts laps where I didn't have a good feeling with the front tyre and I didn't want to push hard early in the race. When Nina crashed, I pushed hard to reach Mishal who made a mistake and went off the track but could join and finished fourth and I could get some more points for the championship Scott Smart: I am happy to finish third in the first race. I did not race in the previous races and I was quite nervous to be back here. Even I was not quite fast in the first race I managed to finish in third position in race 1. However, in race 2 I had some fuel problems and had to stop in the third lap. This is the last race for me of the championship as it clashes with the British Superbike Championship. Saeed Al Sulati: I am very happy to finish in third position two times in the same weekend. I want to thank QMMF and my sponsor Domasco Honda for the good back up. Regarding the races, the weather was so hot and it was a difficult races but I am lucky. Nina Prinz : I pushed a lot in the first race and I did a mistake breaking so hard into the corner and I crashed. In the second race, I had a problem with the rubber of the break and I couldn't push so hard. In the last lap Mishal passed me, it is not good but I am happy that I can go really fast. Mishal al Naimi: I am happy because I pushed a lot in the second race. It was very difficult at the beginning to catch the QMMF riders but when I saw that Alex crashed, I push harder and lap by lap I catched Nina and I passed her in the last lap. I am happy to win this race and I a happy to make lap record in the QIRRCH.
