This video is the entire 2010 Red Hook Criterium as filmed by the master street documentarian Lucas Brunelle. This was the last Red Hook Crit race held without permits or official permission. The race was won by Daniel Chabanov ahead of John 'K-tel' Kniesly and Alexander Barouh. On the final series of corners on the last lap ((36:10) the lapped rider Jun Okumura suffers a puncture and crashes right in front of the lead group disrupting the final sprint. Chabanov (he arguably causes the crash by chopping in front of Jun) and K-tel make it through. Al and Chris are forced onto the sidewalk at full speed. In the end Chabanov's attack out of the final chicane and into the lead won him the race. Amazing footage by Brunelle who had his work cut out for him to film the race in the lead group while staying out of the way.
