For more information on this vehicle visit http://tinyurl.com/c88hvvj With its awesome Black and Hugger Orange color combination, ground pounding 572 cubic inch engine, and highly detailed appearance modifications, this 1969 Camaro pro-tourer will turn driving your muscle car from a hobby into an obsession! One glance down the car's straight and solid profile reveals that days, and perhaps even months, were put into making sure its build was first-rate in every way. The bodywork is exceptionally clean, with great gaps and accurate panel alignment all around, and the car's uniform quality is proof that someone spent a lot of time making sure everything looked better than new before it went home to its proud owner. When that well-done body was completely smooth and ready for paint, a mirror-like coat of Hugger Orange urethane was blanketed with traditional black rally stripes, sealed under a slick clearcoat shell and buffed to an absolutely brilliant shine. While the exterior enhancements to this slick Camaro seem subtle at first glance, the 572 cubic inch V8 under its hood is anything but! And when the owner decided to bring his vision of the perfect Camaro powerplant to life, he began by spraying all the engines cast surfaces in smooth Chevy Orange paint, fully detailing the car's inner fenders and firewall to match its Hugger Orange body, and covering everything from the core support to the wiper motor with mirror-like chrome accents and highly polished aluminum surfaces. At the top of this chrome monster, air flows from a chrome K&N X-Stream air cleaner into a coated Demon 4-barrel carburetor which is fed by a nice combination of stainless lines and braided hoses. The resulting air fuel mixture makes its way from a chrome, orange detailed high rise intake manifold to polished aluminum heads which ride between chrome plated, "572 Chevrolet" branded valve covers and eight giant cylinders which produce 620 horsepower. Fire for those cylinders comes courtesy of an aftermarket HEI distributor which sends spark across chrome looms via red GM Performance Parts plug wires. And spent gases are handled by a nice pair of ceramic coated long tube headers which connect to a brutal sounding true dual exhaust system. At the front of the block a polished aluminum radiator, which is equipped with a quick spinning electric puller fan that's centered in a body matched Flex-a-lite fan cowl and a polished overflow tank, circulates water through chrome corrugated hoses. And a modern serpentine system, which is complete with a full set of chrome pulleys, spins a trick power steering pump next to a chrome alternator, a chrome AC compressor and a polished Edelbrock water pump. The tweaked and fueled big bore engine powers a stalwart 5-speed transmission which spins a custom fitted rear end that provides enough rotation to virtually lift the car off the ground. Naturally, a powerful drivetrain like this needs equally powerful opposition for the sake of effective stops, so its hubs were fitted with an efficient four wheel disc brake system which utilizes beefy calipers to squeeze large rotors. And at the corners of the floor, traditional 15 inch Rally wheels spin 215/70 BF Goodrich Radial T/As around pristine stainless trim rings and good looking bowtie branded spinner caps. Open this Camaro's solid doors and you'll find a fully restored Orange Houndstooth interior which is one of the most stylish cockpits to ever roll out of a GM design studio. The completely rebuilt front bucket and rear bench seats feel as firm as the day they left the showroom, and perfectly complement a tight black headliner, like-new black carpet and color-keyed "Z/28" branded floor mats. In front of those seats a straight and crack-free dash hangs a Covan's Classic gauge pod, which is complete with a full set of Auto Meter Carbon Fiber Ultra-Lite gauges, above controls for the car's Vintage Air climate system and fresh aluminum foot pedals. Between those seats, a t...
