Every year... when summer is in full bloom... PIRATES invade John's Pass! John Levique Pirate Days is a three-day pirate themed festival celebrating the discovery of John's Pass. The great hurricane of 1848 cut this barrier island in half creating the pass discovered by turtle farmer John Levique. The invasion begins Friday, May 11th with John LeVique's Pirate Ball! An adult only (18+) event. Tickets for the Pirates Ball are a $20 donation and includes hors d'oeuvres and entry into the costume contest. Saturday, May 12th, the usually family friendly fun kicks off with our famous Pirate Invasion! This sea battle and boat parade is a great start to an amazing weekend. You don't want to miss it! Prepare for Bar Brawls, Fight Circles, LIVE Mermaids, black powder gun and cannon demonstrations, live musical guests, costume contests, treasure hunts, amazing vendors... all the pirate fun you could ever ask for! And Saturday night, as the sun goes down, we turn up the HEAT! with a one-of-a-kind fire show featuring performers BOHEMIAN FIRE! All this... and a Pub Sing too! Sunday @ 5pm we'll begin our final performance of the festival. All of the performers that you met throughout the weekend will gather on one stage to send you off in style! This will be your chance to say goodbye.. and bid them a fond farewell until next year...
