The two act, four character play is a conversation between Thoreau and Emerson set during the final two days Thoreau spent in his cabin before leaving Walden Pond. -- The film begins with a documentary of Thoreau's life, set in Walden Woods, followed by a full live-audience production of the Walden play, starring actor Adam Luckey as Thoreau. -- During Walden, the dialogue between Thoreau and Ralph Waldo Emerson is culled from their actual literary works. Johnathon also created two fictional characters, Joshua and Rachel, to offer a common and often humorous perspective on the overtly intellectual musings of Thoreau and Emerson. -- More than 7,200 colleges, schools and community theaters in 37 countries have registered performances of the play since it was written 24 months ago. -- SUPPORT LIVE MUSIC -- The WoodSongs Old-Time Radio Hour, hosted by folksinger Michael Johnathon started from a very humble beginning with one radio station in 1999. Today it is listened to by over 900,000 radio listeners on over 491 radio stations each week all over the world.
