Be certain that all help of any means used in remedying any condition of poor sight, depend on YOU and What You Do. How can YOU make exercises work? Spirit is the basic power which works every change. We prepare ourselves for spirit's work through desire and desire is impersonal love or prayer. Every exercise should be accompanied, EVERY MOMENT, by the realization of the marvelous wonders of spirit and your impersonal love (the core of your soul), and of the miracles of the structures of the eye, with JOYOUS EXPECTANCY, looking forward and expecting fulfillment of the changes that you want to attain and if possible by agreement of another soul praying earnestly and joyously with you. Relaxation. Certain phases of eye-trouble are due to the eye being deprived of the proper amount of energy and sufficient blood supply to feed the tissues of the eyes and keep them normally responsive. In many cases lack of energy and lack of normal blood flow are due to strain of the muscles of the upper back, neck or shoulders. When muscles of the back, neck or shoulders have been tensed, the condition has usually become non-conscious, so that your conscious mind knows little or nothing about tensity. Since strain is always accompanied by thought , effort of your conscious mind will not remedy such a tensed condition. Savasana is the answer! Instructions: Savasana is the corpse pose, the position of total relaxation--making it one of the most challenging asanas in yoga. Lie down on your back, extend your legs out long and let it all go. Having used effort now surrender. Let go of everything that it's not infinite. That includes your body, its injuries, fear, your job, judgment, your identity, your relationships.
