Description

Have you ever had a space in your life .. you just wish you could be different in? Maybe it's a space at work where instead of being the relaxed person you want to be, you find yourself high-strung and stressed. Or perhaps a social environment where you want to feel comfortable, instead you feel self conscious and sit back in the shadows. As I've been sharing with my basketball ... for me, it's a space I just don't feel like I show up as fully 'me'. Instead of being confident and feeling in flow and relaxed .. I turn into this Gunkelman who's intimidated, feels she has something to prove and is scared. WHAT'S THAT ALL ABOUT?!?! (haha) But, no. Seriously. What. Is. That. All. About. What is the reason I stop myself from being me? What is the reason you maybe stop yourself from being you? Thinking... what are we waiting for right?? In this vid. I'll chat to you about re-defining yourself. Making what is the comfort zone now, uncomfortable. For example, with my basketball. I'm 'comfortable' being in that space where I self-sabotage. I don't like it ... however, succeeding and being awesome obviously isn't my comfort zone, otherwise I'd always be diverting to that space emotionally. Instead I kept showing up as a scared little kitten. So, that's my comfort space. I want my *new* comfort space to be about confidence and patience. I want that to be my default emotional space, so when I am having self-doubt, my reaction will be .. wait a minute this isn't right .. get yourself back to confidence! Same thing happens with losing weight. There's a 'comfort weight'. For example, when I start to gain a few pounds, I'll notice when it gets to my 'limit' and I'll immediately start changing behaviour, just by default because I won't allow myself to be any heavier, becuase it's uncomfortable. Same thing with being overwieght as well. There's a body image and a comfort level to how much fat is carried. The person may not even like that weight, however, if it's the default comfort zone .. when weight starts to go .. over time it all comes back on, reverting back to the 'comfort zone'. So, what I am suggesting, is you and I think about what our comfort zone might be in relation to a certain area of life. Work, home, fitness, social, family, finance, spirituality, etc. If where it is now, is not what we want ... let's bust out of our comfort space and REDEFINE who I am, who you are, in that space!! So, watch this video. I hope you get inspired and make some decisions to CHANGE. YOUR. SPACE. Much luv, em xox
