MARK DIPPÉ has a long history in Hollywood as a digital pioneer. As a Visual Effects Supervisor at Industrial Light & Magic he supervised work on some of the most groundbreaking films in history such as JURASSIC PARK, THE ABYSS and TERMINATOR 2. In 1998 he left ILM to direct SPAWN for New Line Cinema and several films for the Disney Channel. Mark joined Hammerhead in 2005 to build the company's animation division. He has produced and directed 7 of the company's animated features. Mark has also supervised visual effects on some of the company's most challenging projects including two PARANORMAL ACTIVITY film. Moderated by: TIMOTHY PETERNEL has worked as an independent film producer for the past 15 years on such critically acclaimed films as SPUN, BUFFALO 66, LONDON, LOVE LIZA, DIRTY, THE LAST WORD, to name a few. Prior to producing, he was Vice President of Development for the prolific film company Muse Productions and worked on such indie classics as AMERICAN PSYCHO, VIRGIN SUICIDES, AND BULLY. Most recently his film SMALL APARTMENTS premiered at the 2012 SXSW Film Festival, and stars Matt Lucas, Billy Crystal, Johnny Knoxville, and Rebel Wilson. Besides producing, Timothy Peternel Co-Wrote the animated film THE OUTBACK (2012) starring Rob Schneider, Norm MacDonald, Alan Cumming, Tim Curry, and Brett McKenzie. He was also a writer (story) on the highly successful indie animated film THE REEF released by the Weinstein Company in 2006. MEGHANN ARTES holds an MFA from the Animation Workshop at UCLA. In addition to her academic work, she has fifteen years of entertainment industry experience working for companies like Dreamworks, Nickelodeon, Bix Pix, Noggin, NBC, ABC and Sesame Street. She has won both an Emmy and a Peabody and her short films have enjoyed success in film festivals across the country. Meghann is currently in post-production on SPEED DATING, an ambitious short film that combines live action, animation and visual effects.
