Career Ending Injury?

Description

This is my 1st squat attempt at USAPL Raw Nationals 2014. I have done thousands of repetitions on the squat exercise, along with performing multiple repetitions with this same weight before, but today just wasn't my day. I even attempted to squat this same weight after this accident. This was definitely a fluke attempt. Live and learn. Good news is is that I found out today my bones were not fractured. I will have an MRI performed on my ankle within the next week. Thankfully I'm a combat veteran and the VA hospital covers my injuries and illnesses. Your thoughts and prayers are definitely welcomed. My only hope is that this is not the end of my powerlifting career, because this is what I love most!! For reference: I am a USAPL Drug-Free Competitve Lifter and I have a degree in Kinesiology (i.e., the study of human movement). I graduated from Concordia University with honors. I am an online personal trainer and if you're looking to increase your strength or just to live a healthier lifestyle and want a mentor/coach to help you along than I am your guy! Check out my website on my YouTube home page and send me a message either via YouTube or on my facebook and together we will get you to where you want to be. :) Facebook: www.facebook.com/joshua.price.311 Fitocracy: www.fitocracy.com/profile/joshua_only1 Visalus: www.joshuaonly1.bodybyvi.com
