Description

Open seven days a week, with classes six of these seven days and fighters preparing as often and as appropriately as possible, this facility is almost always buzzing. Add into the equation that owner Lee Mein also puts on local fight cards (Rumble In the Cage Promotions), enlisting his own fight team sensations to battle it out with talent from across Canada and the United States, you can guarantee that there is always someone at the gym training for something. As fight-night approaches, you can feel the vibrations in the air from the anticipation and eagerness that this intimate fight team family is feeling. They are there for each other like brothers... they feel one another's aches and pains, joys and excitement. And as a member of this facility, it is unlikely that you will remain with the status as 'an outsider' for long. It is impossible to attend this gym and not become seriously emotionally tied to these guys and what they stand for. We really are just like one big family. Along with having a friendly, welcoming environment, we also have a very rough and tough side to us. We are home to some of the biggest up and coming fighters of the west. UFC vet Jason 'Dooms' Day is a product of Canadian Martial Arts Centre , as well as first-class fighters such as Jordon 'young gun' Mein, Jesse 'water' Bongfeldt, and Dan 'torture' Chambers. The list of our talent could go one and on. At The Canadian Martial Arts Centre, the fighter training is overflowing with raw skills, gifts and athleticism. If you're in Southern Alberta, these are the guys to train with. If you're not in southern Alberta... these are the guys to watch out for. Our facility has plenty of mat space, a full cage set up for maximum training, and a complete weight room with cardio equipment. We are a tight-knit group of young adults putting everything we have into our training. We might not be blessed with the advantages of the big cities... but we are unquestionably the biggest and best in southern Alberta. Sure, when thinking of Canada's best places to train, big well-known facilities like Tri --Star will come to mind. But there is a west that is massively making its mark on the MMA scene... and it is Lethbridge's Canadian Martial Arts Centre...
