Description

Catholic archbishop Boniface Lele was laid to rest in a grotto or a small cave dug out from the wall of a quarry at the holy ghost cathedral in Mombasa. The historic burial that is known to take place only at the Vatican in Rome where there is a vast underground graveyard below St. Peter's Basilica was attended by thousands of people including clergy from the Catholic church and  government officials. Our reporter reports on the unique burial ceremony of the late archbishop who was born poor, and died a poor man.
