Wayzata is the top-ranked team in class AA boys tennis, but reaching the state tournament was no sure thing. The Trojans had to get past Edina in the Section 6AA championship match. Wayzata won a 4-3 decision over the Hornets to claim the section title and advance to the state tournament.
