Our speaker this week will be Dr. James Taylor, pastor of University Christian Church in Norman. Dr. Taylor is a black man who has produced a DVD titled: A PEBBLE IN YOUR SHOE - WHY I AM A REPUBLICAN. Besideshis presentation being an excellent historical review of the relationships between black people and the Republican party, he also discusses how modern day black people have ended up on the Democrat party plantation. In addition, James was recently asked by some conservatives to attend the LGBTQ21 Summit sponsored by the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services. The Summit was held in Norman on December 12th. This taxpayer sponsored summit was supposed to be about continuing education for mental health professionals but turned out to be a pep-rally for the homosexual community. I am sure it grieved his heart to have to listen to one of Oral Roberts' grandsons start off by blasting J.T.'s good friend, State Representative Sally Kern. Then he had to listen to the Word of God being warped and twisted to fit the agenda of the homosexual community. He attended the workshop on A.I.D.S. and had opportunity to call on the carpet several postulations presented in that small group workshop. Little did they know he had written a fairly scientific book on the A.I.D.S. disease as well as some pamphlets. He is a very compelling speaker, you will not want to miss this meeting.
