I want everyone to know in detail exactly what happened. It's hard to tell from just watching the video with out the full back story.This was my reaction because I thought this was real. I feel little foolish now and a little embarrassed and a lot of other emotions that are hard to describe right now. But I really feel like this church owes me and my family an apology for letting this happen. Also they owe our entire community and explanation.This is exactly how this went down on Thursday, May 16 right after filming some incredible nature footage of a beautiful owl in a tree, (in fact, now that I think of it this all happened just below the tree that the owl was actually in). After I captured enough owl footage, I set my camera down in my garage. I went into the house to have lunch.Shortly after that I heard what sounded like gunshots outside. So I went back outside and heard it again. It sounded like several fast pop-pop-pop sounds then a big boom sound along with several dogs barking. I then called 911. The time of the first call was exactly 3:31 PM. I reported this to Gwinnett County police. They arrived within minutes. I told her exactly what I heard and that it sounded like it was coming from the woods. I told her that she couldaccess the woods from my backyard but that she had to cross the creek. She told me that she did not want any part of crossing the creek or going back there by her self. So I told her that she could access the woods from the back of the 12 stone church parking lot. And she said, thats she would do. Then she left. So I went about my business and went back into my garage. It was maybe 15 minutes later and I heard a noise coming from the woodsjust outside my garage door. Then I grabbed my camera and pressed the power button as I walked towards the woods. What happened next was the strangest thing that is ever happened to me in my life. The timing of this was just incredible! The next thing I did was press the record button and then all hell breaks loose. It was as though I press the record button and the biggest boom I've ever heard happened right in front of me with the camera rolling.
