My guitar conundrum

Description

I strung up an old Kay guitar. Total cost $15. I could sell it for maybe $50, but I'm thinking I should keep it. I love the tone, I guess because it's a full bodied guitar rather than a three-quarter instrument like my GS Mini. (I'm teaching myself guitar, so don't expect Eric Clapton, OK?) I got the guitar from a woman who said it'd been in her closet since the 1970s. (She responded to a post I made on Freecycle.org) I looked around YouTube and found what I think is an identical guitar which was a 1950s model. See it here. http://youtu.be/20ZfsslENNs The guitar had no strings and was missing bridge pins. Looked pretty beat up, but I think that's what you call "character." I took it to Hubbard's Music for an opinion. They could put her in good shape for about 50 bucks. Well, I didn't have 50 bucks, so I bought six bridge pins at 50 cents each and a set of Martin extra light strings. Got home, strung her up, and, by golly, she's a real sweetie! I think I just talked myself into keeping her. And when I get the 50 bucks (tomorrow, cause I'm winning the lottery) I'll treat her to Hubbard's guitar spa.
