A glass slide that is hanging off the exterior of a 73-floor Los Angeles skyscraper is preparing to offer a thrill ride like no other. Nearly 300 meters above the streets of downtown Los Angeles, the glass slide has clung to the outside of the city’s tallest building. Those who want a thrill ride will be able to sit down and slide for 14 meters to an outdoor platform at the 69th floor. Despite being made of glass just one inch thick, it is built to withstand hurricane-force winds and earthquakes.
