Description

The Centre for Applied Technologies is the largest capital project ever undertaken by NAIT. With financial support from the Government of Alberta, construction is underway. This is the most recent installment of our series of time-lapse video charting building progress. At more than 52,000 square metres, the centre will transform Main Campus in Edmonton, and enable NAIT to continue responding to the ever-growing demand for a highly skilled workforce. It will allow the institute to increase enrolment by 50 per cent in health, business, engineering technologies and sustainable building and environmental management programs. Featuring simulation laboratories, state-of-the-art classrooms and a 135-seat theatre, it will be home to NAIT's JR Shaw School of Business and the hub for applied research activities.
