Description

The stars visible in the east before sunrise at the end of July and the first couple weeks of August each year approximate the stars visible before sunrise at the critical time of the March Equinox (Spring Equinox for the northern hemisphere) all the way back in the Age of Gemini (prior to the Age of Taurus, which was prior to the Age of Aries, which was prior to the Age of Pisces, which is now coming to an end as we approach the Age of Aquarius). The motion of precession has now "delayed" the sky (i.e. the background of stars) so much that this lineup is now visible in late July/early August, rather than in March.
