Spider Man Officially Joining Marvel Cinematic Universe! Subscribe Now! ► http://bit.ly/SubClevverMovies It’s official Spider-Man is heading back to Marvel and it means big changes for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! After months of rumors, Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios have announced that Spider-Man will officially be joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The deal will see a new actor take on the role of Spider-Man in an as yet unnamed film to be followed by a new Spider-Man film to arrive in theaters on July 28th, 2017. The new Spidey film will be co-produced by Marvel’s Kevin Feige, but Sony will continue to finance, distribute, own and have final creative control over the Spider-Man films. The new deal will also allow characters from the Marvel Cinematic Universe to be included in future Spider-Man films. Though Spider-Man remains the most lucrative superhero of all, the Sony films have continuously done worse at the box office since being rebooted in 2012. Fans have long been begging for Sony to return the rights to Marvel and though that’s not the case, this seems like the best alternative. Following the news of Spider-Man joining the MCU, Marvel quickly began shuffling their schedule to account for the new Spider-Man film coming in 2017. With Spider-Man taking over Thor: Ragnarok’s release date, the sequel will now take over Black Panther’s November 3rd, 2017 release date. Black Panther will now make his solo debut on July 6th, 2018 followed by Captain Marvel on November 2nd, 2018 and the Inhumans will make their debut on July 12th, 2019. As we stated, this means current Peter Parker portrayer Andrew Garfield is out and a new actor will be cast. Though it was not announced which film the new Spider-Man will be introduced in, next year’s Captain America: Civil War seems the most likely candidate and the film that was mentioned in leaked Sony emails when the discussions were first being done. As for the Sinister Six movie that was planned for next year, sources say that film is being delayed thanks to the new Marvel deal.
