The Civil Rights Pilgrimage 2014 is an opportunity for students to explore key locations central to the Civil Rights Movement of the 1950's and 1960's and to discover the impact that the Civil Rights Movement has on contemporary social issues. This year's pilgrimage will take students to Atlanta, Georgia; Selma, Alabama; Montgomery, Alabama; Birmingham, Alabama; Jackson, Mississippi; and Memphis, Tennessee. The Civil Rights Pilgrimage 2014 will occur over Spring Break (Friday, March 7 through Saturday, March 15). Participants will be traveling with fellow students and administrators from Marquette University. Students will be traveling via minivans and small SUV's and staying in hotels during the Pilgrimage.
