New Delhi, May 20 (ANI): Maoist activities in various states across India have been strongly criticized by former Indian Police Service (IPS) officer, Prakash Singh, who believes that people will oppose Maoists if they continue with their violent streak. Speaking to a journalist in New Delhi, Prakash Singh, who wrote a book titled "The Naxalite Movement in India", condemned Maoist brutality. Singh added that the Maoists were not even sparing tribal leaders like On May 14, the Maoists carried out an attack on personnel of Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), who were on duty at the National Mineral Development Corporation in Kirandul in Chhattisgarh state.
