Description
The Pedal on Parliament event was held in Edinburgh on 19th May 2013. It was some 4,000 cyclists of all ages who want to see Scotland as a place where everyone can cycle safely and enjoyably. The ride stared in the Meadows and went down the Royal Mile to a gathering outside the Parliament where there were speeches by Graham Obree, Lynne McNicoll and politicians of all parties. All emphasised the health and environmental benefits of cycling whether for work, play or just shopping.
