Description

Protest at "Super Bowl City" in San Francisco, Feb. 3, 2016. San Francisco is spending millions to sponsor an extravagant event in the City for the Super Bowl (which is not even taking place in SF). At the same time, evictions and pro-rich real estate development are proceeding at a record pace. On Feb. 3, 250 people marched in "Super Bowl City" to demand Housing for All, Evict Mayor Ed Lee, Justice for Mario Woods (who was gunned down by SFPD), and Fire SFPD Chief Greg Suhr. Homeless and other community activists — including ANSWER Coalition — joined together in a united and vocal action.
