Problems in Ebola Border Areas - Mali's hospitals are overworked

Description

There still hasn't yet been a case of Ebola in Mali. So Dr. Lanseni Doumbia can treat pregnant women, malaria sufferers and accident victims in his small hospital in Kourémalé. It's hoped things will remain that way, because facilities are unprepared for treating ebola victims. The border between Mali and Guinea runs right through the village of Kourémalé. The current Ebola epidemic began in Guinea, and is not yet under control. Now there's a great amount of fear that the border won't stop the virus. All people crossing it are checked for symptoms and their temperatures are taken.
