The Plank is a favorite for locals and regulars as well as many tourists and sailors from the nearby naval base. The Plank has pool tables, televisions, a jukebox, a large outdoor patio and a large bar. Fishing nets, nautical decorations, and military insignia cover the walls and ceilings and a famous captain can be seen up on the rooftop. The bar serves a very limited menu of bar nibbles.
