Description

The United Nations says Yemen’s warring sides have begun a new round of face-to-face peace negotiations in Kuwait. The spokesman for the U-N envoy for Yemen says all sides, including former government’s delegation, are present in the talks. The Saudi-backed officials from Hadi’s government left the talks on Sunday after accusing Ansarullah movement of breaking the UN-brokered ceasefire. Meanwhile, Saudi warplanes continued their bombings against Yemenis. They carried out two air raids on the province of Sana’a. There were no reports of possible casualties. The Yemeni conflict got much complicated after Saudi Arabia began its bombing campaign on its southern neighbor in March last year. More than 94-hundred Yemenis have been killed since then.
