Asian Eye institute's "Asian Eye's Quick Turnaround from an Imminent Loss" program won this year's Lopez Achievement Award (LAA) Cycle 2013 Business Management category. Business management deals with the strategic positioning, business growth and management of assets or funds, liabilities and equities leading to attainment of strategic objectives, high financial returns or increase in shareholder value. There are six categories for LAA: Customer Focus, Business Management, Operations Management, Human Resource Focus, Corporate Image Building, Public Responsibility. Teams may be composed of members from a single company or from different companies. Nominations can come from both profit and non-profit organizations within the Lopez Group. Teams and individuals are judged based on the following criteria - demonstrate Lopez Group core values, significantly contribute to the business or organization's objectives and the exemplary achievement.
