Description

A veritable mixed bag of timelapse sequences shot over the course of the past three years during my photographic and business travels. Having only been shooting this style of imaging as well as night skies for that time I've found it is something that I enjoy incredibly. I guess for me it suits me down to the ground that it involves long periods of isolated bliss, that is when I'm shooting in the wilderness regions. That said though and I'm sure other time-lapse shooters will also attest that one kind of slips into the 'time-lapse frame of mind' when shooting so I don't really notice too much the people milling around me. The sequences here have been shot with a collection of different cameras and formats. For the most part the scenes where realised with my Canon EOS 5D3 but I also included a couple of sequences from a GoPro Hero4 Black and even one sequence from an iPhone to show the diversity of acquisition models when needed. Editing wise I used LRTimelapse Pro and Adobe Lightroom. For the iPhone sequence I only had the option within the App to get the finished film so I done some editing on that within the editing phase for the film where I used Final Cup Pro X (FCPx). Hardware wise I used magic carpet sliders and Genie and Genie Mini traveling and panning gear from SYRP as well as the Second Shooter system from Kessler. Tripods by Manfrotto, kitbags from Lowepro and Paxis. Feel free to ask any questions but if they are related to editing of time-lapse sequences please also see the other videos here that relate to that aspect of the workflow. Cheers, Mark. http://seawildearth.com
