Salmonella Outbreak Linked to Holiday Inn Bordeaux in Fayetteville, NC

At least 70 people fell ill with Salmonella infections after eating at the Holiday Inn Bordeaux in Fayetteville, North Carolina in the first week of May 2013. Marler Clark, the nation's leading law firm representing victims of Salmonella and other foodborne illness outbreaks, filed a lawsuit against the Holiday Inn Bordeaux in Cumberland County Superior Court on May 22, 2013. The lawsuit was filed on behalf of a woman who ate at Cafe Bordeaux on May 9 and fell ill with symptoms of Salmonella infection, including abdominal cramps, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea in the days following her meal. Although she sought medical treatment and was prescribed antibiotics, she has not fully recovered from her illness.
