The Startingpoint business, in Woodley near Stockport, has put on a variety of courses for hundreds of local people while helping to revitalise the local community. The project's dedication and commitment to providing learning opportunities to help people improve their lives was recognised with a Learning Where You Are Award -- sponsored by The Open University - as part of Adult Learners' Week 12 - 18 May 2012.
