"The newness that God brings to our life is that which really fulfills us... it is not the search for newness to overcome boredom." This was the reflection that Pope Francis offered to those who took part in the Mass for the Solemnity of Pentecost, pointing out that often newness comes with fear because we lose the security of planning one's life according to our own schemes.
