360 Video - Mars Curiosity Rover (fixed)

Description

NASA's JPL recently shared a 360 video on Facebook created from imagery captured by the Curiosity Mars Rover. If you watched it you may have noticed an "Inception" like distortion to the horizon. This was caused because the imagery captured did not cover the full sphere forcing the video to be stretched to fill the missing areas. So I decided to fix the video. With the original Curiosity's "Namib Dune" panorama downloaded from the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory's website, I used Photoshop to fix the missing areas of the sky. No other areas of the image were altered. Then I created this 30 sec. 360 video version. Imagery captured by the rover's "Mastcam" on Dec. 18th, 2015, SOL 1,197 of the rovers mission on Mars. Enjoy!
