Description

Animation to sound - Part of a collaborative class animation. I was given this 10 second sound piece to animate to. The only brief was to have a 30's-style theme. Naturally, I parodied King Kong. After effects puppet animation of a Fluorescent misunderstood octopus. He hears the drum solo from his underground lare and cant help but investigate where the sound is coming from. On his journey he whacks the beat on buildings and the floor, but without realising it, casuses havoc over the entire city. He climbs to the top of the Empire State where the beat is being broadcast & taps away on the radio aerial. The music stops when the aerial plunges to the ground. Poor Octopus.
