Description

For more informaion, plase ask to Shawn@nex-sys.co.kr We are Nexsys Corp. and we make LTE helmets mainly for fire fighters. My name is Eom Jeong Han and I am a president of Nexsys. Next is Dr. Kim Dong Hung. In Korea many fire fighters are being victimized because of the communication being disconnected while they are in dangerous situations. Yes that happens too often and its horrible. As you can imagine, it’s impossible for fire fighters to hold smartphones, so we inserted the camera in the helmet and connected with LTE communication through the cooperation of LG U PLUS. So when you look back of me, the LTE helmet shows where the camera is directed. Wow the screen is really displaying in real time. Yes it does. So if the team leader has a tablet or smartphone connected with our LTE communication, he should be able to monitor what is going on around his team members. Because the camera is embedded in the helmet, this can happen in real time. We are also developing the microphone functionality through which fire fighters will be able to communicate more efficiently to each other. What motivated you to come up with this invention? The person who helped us fully developing this idea was actually a fire fighter. He motivated us to come up with the invention that has a strong positive impact of saving people’s lives. That is very important. In America this technology is very expensive. It costs about 2000 to 3000 dollars to operate such equipment, whereas we are trying to use this innovative technology to make it much affordable. Ours should be less than 1000 dollars. Wow..that is amazing. Yes and if I were to briefly introduce about Mr. Kim, he has been working in the field of image technique for 20 years. Wow he must be very experienced. Yes. He also was a developer for a very famous Car Black Box Company and researched and developed many wearable devices while he was working there. So we were able to conceive a big dream of building the business that provides safety on behalf of people Yes Korea is suffering from a cultural phenomenon, called safety frigidity… And you know there was a gun accident at the reserve forces training, and also some petro-chemical factory was on fire with some unknown explosions few days ago and the worst parts of these horrible events were that nobody till today knows what exactly happened at the moment. But this LTE image transmitting technology should be put in use to monitor all these potential happenings, right? Are we also able to analyze the data collected from this? Yes you can certainly make an efficient situational investigation through this technology. You can think of this as a wearable image object for safety. Thank you very much Mr. Eom.
