Description
Your safety on Kentucky's roads is our foremost concern. And the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet continues to encourage motorists to use their seat belt whenever they're in a vehicle. Recently, the Transportation Cabinet recognized a Campbell County man who -- because he used his seat belt -- survived a potentially fatal crash. That wasn't always the case. Just a week earlier, that man, Josh Ilg, had received a citation for not wearing his seatbelt. Last year, 746 people died on Kentucky's roads -- more than half were not wearing seatbelts. If you don't currently buckle-up, why not follow Josh's example and start? Who knows -- maybe you or a loved one -- will be saved by the belt.
