The rumors are true! Former American Idol and diva Jennifer Hudson has signed on to be a judge on American Idol Season 13! Thanks for tuning back in to ClevverMusic news here on YouTube. Sadly, the current 'Idol' judges: Keith Urban, Nicki Minaj, Mariah Carey, and Randy Jackson will ALL not be returning next season on the show. Likely, in an effort to revive the dropping ratings on the TV show- yikes Fox! The first new judge name that multiple sources have confirmed is former 'Idol' Jennifer Hudson! Honestly, we think this is a perfect idea as she is one of the most successful Idols the show has ever seen, despite Jennifer coming in 7th place in Season 3. Jennifer has starred in movies such as "Dreamgirls" for which she won an Academy Award and recently starred in the TV show 'Smash'. All of that on top of her successful music career, our favorite J. Hud song is "All Dressed in Love" from the Sex & The City Movie, which she also starred in as Carrie Bradshaw's loving assistant. J. Hud also won a Grammy for Best R&B Album for her self-titled record, "Jennifer Hudson". Other rumored judges for the new season 13 of American Idol include the original winner, Kelly Clarkson, as well as Adam Lambert or Clay Aiken.
