Amy x FAQ: Below is a selection of some of the questions I am most frequently asked. These answers are correct at the date of this video (August 2016). If you have a question that has not been answered, please feel free to ask! Q: How old are you? A: 24 Q: Where is your accent from? A: I'm from Aberdeen, Scotland, but I've lived in the north east of England for a good few years now, so it's a bit mixed! Q: What do you do? A: I'm a writer of fiction, an assistant editor for literature and culture articles, and a proofreader of any copy on which I can get my hands! Q: What camera do you use? A: I usually film my videos with a Sony HDR C330E camcorder. Sometimes I will use my Samsung DV180 camera though if I'm out and about and decide to film a spontaneous video! Q: Since you talk about films a lot on your channel, I'm keen to know what kind of films you enjoy most? A: Like most avid film fans, I'm prepared to give anything a watch, but I'm most partial to thrillers, horrors, and comedies (but not so much rom coms unless I particularly like the cast or crew). Q: In terms of actors and actresses, whose films do you keep up to date with? A: Helena Bonham Carter, Angelina Jolie, Sandra Bullock, Emma Thompson, Olivia Colman, David Tennant, and Johnny Depp. Q: Who is your favourite director? A: TIM BURTON... Q: You originally started this channel to talk about TV shows. Do you still watch TV? A: Well, yes, but I'm much more likely to watch a comedy panel show or British sitcom than I am anything else. These include, but are not limited to, Would I Lie To You?, 8 out of 10 Cats, QI, Mock the Week, Not Going Out, Peep Show, Doctor Who, Torchwood, and my favourite Loose Women. Q: Which writers inspire you the most with your work? A: I find that any good piece of literature can be inspirational, but there's a small collection of writers whose work - and indeed their personalities - are so uplifting and fascinating: Lord Byron, Virginia Woolf, Jane Auste...
