Description

John F. Kennedy: If this capsule history of our progress teaches us anything, it is that man in his quest for knowledge and progress is determined and cannot be deterred. Donald: This world was never enough for you, was it, Coop? Cooper: What, 'cause headin' out there feels like what I was born to do? And it excites me? Nah, that does not make it wrong. Jim Lovell: The reward of going to the moon for the very first time as an explorer was well worth any kind of a risk we had. Gene Kranz: Risk is the price of progress. If you want to do anything in life that is worthwhile, you're gonna have to step up to the plate. Burt Rutan: Instinctively we've gone out and climbed over difficult places, went to more hostile places, and found out later, maybe to our surprise, that that's the reason we survived. Buzz Aldrin: I believe we deserve to do a little bit more than footprints on the moon. Elon Musk: There's a fundamental difference, if you start looking into the future, between a humanity that is a spacefaring civilization that is out there, exploring the stars, on multiple planets, compared with one where we are forever confined to Earth. Neil DeGrasse Tyson: It is deep within our DNA as human beings. We've been exploring ever since we first left the cave. Kip Thorne: It'll be damn hard to go beyond the solar system, exceedingly hard, but I believe we'll be there in due course. Stephen Hawking: Spreading out into space will have a great effect. It will completely change the future of the human race, and maybe determine whether we have any future at all. Cooper: Mankind was born on Earth. It was never meant to die here. John F. Kennedy: The exploration of space will go ahead whether we join in it or not. And it is one of the greatest adventures of all time.
