Description

Isabelle Melancon is a French-Canadian artist. She attend MoCCAfest to promote her traditional media webcomic, Namesake (http://namesakecomic.com). She's heavily influenced by American and Japanese animation as well as older Victorian and french illustration. Her work can be found at http://secondlina.tumblr.com. Megan Lavey-Heaton is an award winning writer and editor for Namesake who got her start in the newspaper industry. She is going to be debuting a folk-tale comic/novellette named Silver Button at TCAF this year. Her work can be found at http://savvyliterate.tumblr.com. Namesake will be attending TCAF 2014, Heroescon 2014, ConnectiCon 2014, and SPX 2014.
