WATERMARK, directed by WFF alumni Jennifer Baichwal and Edward Burtynsky, is a feature documentary that brings together diverse stories from around the globe about our relationship with water: how we are drawn to it, what we learn from it, how we use it and the consequences of that use. Viewers will be taken from the massive floating abalone farms off China's Fujian coast to the barren desert delta of the mighty Colorado River, which no longer reaches the oceans to the sublime pristine watersheds of Northern British Columbia. Shot in 5K ultra high definition WATERMARK shows water as terraform element and the scale of its reach on our planet.
