Description

Have you ever thought of living in the World Without Hair? We might never imagined it. However, some of us unfortunately have to live in this world because of their illness. Those infected with cancer and are about to undergo chemotherapy may lose some or all of their hair. Welcoming the next Shave For Hope - a social movement to increase awareness, empathy, and financial supports for Indonesian kids with cancer - we invited 15 public figures to be interviewed with 1 single question: "What do you think of World Without Hair?" Why 15? Shave for Hope is entering its 3rd year coming soon on 6 Sept, 2015. When you added 6 & 9, it will be perfectly matched with the year. Yes, it's #SFH2015! Why Public Figures? For public figures, hairs are beyond important. Some even gained their stage name because of their unique hairstyle. So, we thought getting them to answer this question without any preparation (unscripted) might give us better picture of how hard it is to live without hair. Some might find it is going to be flat, empty, full of sorrow. Some related it with unemployment for hairdressers / barbers, the absence of shampoos, pomades, good or bad looking. Some can't answer it easily. Something beyond their imagination. They instantly feel how difficult it must be for cancer fighters. However, at the end, we all believed that living in the world without hairs is not really a big deal. What's more disastrous is World without music, friends, and love :) Hopefully this video inspires many people to support people with cancer, particularly these beloved kids who have to live with pain and without hair. Let's share our empathy with them. Time to feel what they feel. Let's come and join Shave for Hope 2015 on September 6 2015 at Lippo Mall Kemang Village Jakarta (Indonesia). Be The Hero, Be The Hope!
