Description

Recorded on June 17th 2006, C. Philip Amoils, my friend Wayne Frank, Chris ?, and myself all had the awesome experience to fly in formation with four Nanchang China CJ-6's out of the Hawthorne Airport /Jack Northrop Field, Hawthorne, California. When the Western Museum of Flight was located at the Hawthorne Airport /Jack Northrop Field they would sell museum membership rides, the event was called Fathers Day Warbird Fly-In. That year they sold flights on Beechcraft T-34 Mentor, Boeing PT-17 Stearman, four Nanchang China CJ-6's, North American Harvard & North American P-51 Mustang "ManO'War" and other cool aircraft on display. I flew in the Lead Aircraft with Craig T. Ekberg flying his 1968 CJ-6A N556TR (#43) C. Philip Amoils flew with Hal Provo flying his CJ-6A N147M (# 23) Wayne Frank flew in 1964 CJ-6A N9278F (# 15) Chris flew with Ronald Lee flying his 1968 CJ-6A N250RL (Blue with Red Dragon) A huge thank you to the pilots who flew that day and donated to the Museum and to Western Museum of Flight for setting it all up. Also a huge thank you to C. Philip Amoils for a great job putting are videos and pictures together and burning them onto a CD. Note: to upload onto YouTube I had to remove the music that was on the original CD so I didn't infringe on any music rights. Note: Western Museum of Flight is now located at Torrance Airport and the website is listed below. http://www.wmof.com/
