Description
David at Daytime is a short film project by writer/director Jason Pierre. This is a tale of magical realism that questions how we as people deal with the passing of life. David is a doctor who has lost a patient in a complicated surgery. He spends his nights in an emergency room solving the mysteries of the human body. But he could not save his last patient. Wrought with guilt and sadness, he dwells in his apartment contemplating how he could have saved the patient. Then Mary, an ethereal being of the sun who guides souls to the afterlife, visits him at night and they discuss the layers of humanity. As someone dedicated to saving lives, will Mary’s presence bring David out of his darkness or pull him deeper into it?
