Jesus told His disciples that He would build His Church. Their part was to Seek His Kingdom. Interestingly, we often see well-intentioned pastors and leaders garnering their tool belts and hammering away at their latest 'Church' building project. If we're honest, it's much easier to build than to seek. In fact, men are wired to build. The crew on the Tower of Babel building project went so far as to proclaim that they were building a tower to heaven to "Make a name for themselves." Sadly, Christians have often been more focused on making a name for themselves than seeking the One who is the True Architect and Builder of the Church. What would it be like if we Re-Imagined Church? What if we took off our tool belts and truly let Jesus build His Church? The result could be a radical transformation of our churches and our community. We will explore how Jesus can build the REAL Church that He imagined almost 2000 years ago. Joining us in this dynamic discussion with our good friend and pastor, David Guzik. David Guzik is Senior Pastor of Calvary Chapel of Santa Barbara. Prior to coming to Santa Barbara, David served as director and teacher at Calvary Chapel Bible College in Siegen, Germany. David has authored many commentaries on the Bible and has powerful gift in teaching the Word of God. David, his wife Inga-Lill, live in Santa Barbara, California.
