The old covenant was done away with and a new covenant written with the very blood of the Lord Jesus Christ was established so that we as His priesthood could enter the light of His presence forever! As Jesus was dying on the cross for us with His flesh torn and bloody, the angels were tearing the veil of separation in the temple in two making a way for man to enter the very presence of the Most High God. No more dead rituals or sacrifices or traditional worship, the old covenant had come to an end and a new and living way was consecrated for us through the veil of His flesh. Man could now enter the holy place of His presence by the blood of the Son of God. The law was fulfilled and the old priesthood was done away with forever and a new priesthood of believers was about to burst forth on the scene. The new covenant of blood was in place and a new breed of follower was birthed as the thief on the cross asked Jesus to remember Him and He said to him, "Today you will be with Me in paradise." If you are tired of the works of the flesh and a dead ritualistic form of worship then come into the Holy of Hollies that Jesus prepared His priesthood of believers to enter and receive the fullness of His joy and peace and provision, it is your inheritance in the Spirit. But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, inasmuch as He is also the Mediator of a better covenant, which was established on better promises. - Hebrews 8:6 But Christ came as High Priest of the good things to come, with the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation. Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption. - Hebrews 9:11,12 Once reserved only for the High Priest to enter the Holy of Hollies and make atonement for the sins of the people once a year, but now has been opened forever for us by the blood of the Lord Jesus, we can enter boldly into the very throne room of God! As we follow the bloody footprints into the Presence of God through the veil that once separated us from the Father we enter His realm of light and glory only to surrender forever our fleshly lives.
