Growing up in Provo, Utah, in a household of dancers, Lindsay excelled in Latin ballroom dancing. She trained extensively in jazz, contemporary, hip-hop, and ballet. Lindsay brings these various dance techniques into her Latin ballroom dances to create a more exciting and entertaining style of dance. Excelling in many different facets of dance some of her most reputable accomplishments has been being a finalist on two popular network television shows. When Lindsay was just 18-years-old she made it to the finals of So You Think You Can Dance and was voted off but praised by the judges for her versatility and star quality. When the season ended she joined the 30-city tour. After her success on SYTYCD, Lindsay became a professional dancer on the ABC hit reality series Dancing with the Stars. In 2015 she advanced to the finals, with her partner Alek Skarlatos, and finished in third place.
