Description

Hey everybody, I'm back from my trip finally! Sorry it's been awhile since the last video but I've got one for you today, triggers! Triggers are lots of fun, you can use them for many different things and they are necessary in game development. If you've ever walked through a door or hit a button and something happened, music changed, cut-scene started, entered the next level, then you have experienced triggers. They are sort of like collisions in the fact that you have to touch them in order to, well, trigger them, but without all the physics of colliders. I hope that this video convinces you to start experimenting with triggers because personally I think they are one of the coolest things in game development. To learn more about triggers you can find the documentation here: http://docs.unity3d.com/ScriptReference/Collider.html You'll have to look specifically at the trigger functions, whichever one you're interested in, but shouldn't be hard to find. If you have any other questions just leave a comment in the description below and I'll get back to you as soon as possible.
