Description

Exaybachay is a quartet of music improvisers coming form different geographic and music backgrounds. The members of Exaybachay started very recently playing together at the prestigious Oorsprong Curator Series in Amsterdam. The cohesive force that they immediately felt prompted them to continue explore the sonic interaction between electronic, percussive and acoustic instruments. Exaybachay delivers improvisations with a strong mixture of styles, spawning from the blend of each member's different influences: electroacoustic music, jazz-core, afro-beat, and free-jazz.
