Description

The aim of the enterPRIZE job challenge is to enhance the growth of emerging, new and established entrepreneurs that are in the process of setting up a business or have a business they want to expand to with a view to seizing unexploited or underexploited market opportunities. The enterPRIZE job challenge is designed to create opportunities for business owners who find it difficult to secure conventional commercial funding for start-up or expansion of their ventures. The 2013 Free State enterPRIZE Job Creation Challenge, which was launched on the 27th of February 2013 by the International Labour Organization (ILO), in partnership with the Flanders International Cooperation Agency (FICA), the Department of Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs (DETEA) and the Small Enterprise Development Agency (SEDA). This was an activity of the ILO project, the Free State SME Development Initiative in South Africa form 2011 to 2014 and everything was organised by the ILO.
